My name is Jasmine Martinez.
I am running for Syracuse City Council to bring a strong, family and community-focused voice to our city.
I was raised by a hardworking mom and grandma. Being the eldest of four, I learned responsibility, sacrifice, and the importance of budgeting from an early age, and those values helped shape who I am today and helped me in raising my own children.
My husband, a blue-collar journeyman, and I moved to Utah 6 years ago to raise our children in Utah, and they are pursuing careers in trades such as HVAC, welding, and electrical work.
As a mother of 5 and a small business owner, I understand the day-to-day challenges that families face as they try to balance work, school, and life opportunities, and I am an advocate to the families and youth who are too often overlooked. What I Stand For:
